Brewster

Brewster is a living record of the proud seafaring history that was so alive in its early days. The successful ship captains left their mark on this quaint town, with numerous regal homes still standing along Old King's Highway (or "historic Route 6A"). Today those grand estates have been converted into bed and breakfasts, art galleries, restaurants, and antique shops - each one full of character honoring Brewster's remarkable past.

Brewster is a picturesque beach town boasting eight breathtakingly beautiful bayside beaches with miles of glistening sand when the tide recedes. On clear days, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views from Sandwich to Provincetown as far as your eyes will take you! Visitors and locals also have access to the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History for those interested in discovering more about this special place.

Nestled in Brewster, Nickerson State Park is a nature-lovers paradise! With over 400 campsites scattered amongst evergreen trees planted by the Civilian Conservation Corps and eight scenic freshwater kettle ponds stocked with trout for swimming or boating - it's an outdoor escape like no other. Beyond camping, explore miles of hiking trails or take your two wheels out on the eight-mile bike path that connects to Cape Cod Rail Trail.
